Leaders today must be designers. Leaders have to be creative, think outside the box, and add meaning to this world. In education this means anything from the appearance of your school, types of programs your school offers to students, teachers, and parents, and even creating a bell schedule that maximizes learning.

The Ethical Mind

I think it's important for leaders to act responsibly, do things the right way, and to maintain good character. The world would be a better place if people would practice this way of living.

I think it is important for leaders to see the big picture. As a teacher I practiced the Backward Design model. I determined what I wanted to accomplish then developed a plan to get there. It starts with a clear vision.
